Warehouse Associate
Location: On-site
Compensation: Starting at $13 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Reports to: Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Shift Lead
Overview
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving inventory, picking products, and packing customer orders. This role ensures items are processed accurately and shipped on time.
This is an entry-level operational role focused on execution, organization, and reliability. Warehouse Associates are a key part of how Slingshot fulfills orders and maintains inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
Inventory Receiving
Receive incoming inventory shipments from vendors
Verify quantities and condition of incoming products
Log and organize received inventory into the warehouse system
Label and store products in their correct warehouse locations
Order Fulfillment
Pick products for outgoing orders
Pack items securely and accurately for shipment
Prepare shipments for carrier pickup
Ensure orders match packing lists and shipping labels
Inventory Management
Assist with inventory counts and organization
Maintain accurate product locations and quantities
Report inventory discrepancies when discovered
Help maintain clean and organized storage areas
Warehouse Systems & Tools
Use ShipStation to process outgoing shipments
Use SKUVault to track inventory and order fulfillment
Use Nova (internal system) for order and inventory management
Maintain clear and organized documentation when needed
Warehouse Operations
Work with the warehouse team to keep fulfillment running smoothly
Communicate face to face with team members and through internal systems when needed
Assist with general warehouse tasks including organizing inventory and preparing workstations
Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
Qualifications
0 to 2 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or equivalent experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Able to follow processes and instructions carefully
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
Able to communicate clearly with team members
Familiarity with shipping software, warehouse management systems, or inventory tools is helpful but not required.
